Universal Appeal
Jan. 4 2014 by Nell Chitty (Goodreads) | 5 of 5 stars
The strong emotions that Clark evokes in the reader prove what a powerful writer he is. The characters are everyday people, maybe individuals you’ve met in the past or know in the present. The characters really give this book universal appeal. The descriptions are so wonderfully detailed, you feel like you are living the story. It is a heart wrenching tale of alcoholism, desire, and disappointment in life which I’m sure many can relate to.
