First of all, this book is very well written. I could tell that the author, Wayne Clark, is a very experienced and knowledgeable writer. The story, though somewhat of a brutal tale, was enticing and full of thrill and suspense. The story is about a young teenager, Sarah Da Silva, who is kidnapped and taken from her home country to North America where she is sold to a wealthy, high-powered man. However, Sarah is not willing to give up herself so easily. She is a strong girl who fights for what is right. She fights for her freedom. It was so great to read about her journey through this brutal tale, but she proved to be a strong, brave woman who will not give up. I definitely will recommend this book and author to my friends who love to read! Overall, this is a great book for any person who is interested in heroine type, strong female character books.
