Elegant and mature, this book explores the conflict often faced by people who realise that they are in need of something “more” in their personal relationships. It opens wounds, it explores failings, it explodes some of the myths surrounding the kink scene. It’s sad, but not morbid nor morose. This story explores the doubts, the needs, the pressures and that special dynamic between a Mistress and the submissive from the submissive’s perspective.
This book rates very highly on my personal list as one of the best, most articulate, books in the BDSM genre I have encountered in quite some time.
