Not Your Average Erotic Book

he & She, by Wayne Clark, is much more than what it appears to be. Originally, I thought that this was going to turn out being just another erotic type of book. However, what I found instead was a pleasant surprise that really had me thinking long and hard.

What I enjoyed most about this book is the fact that it is very realistic. The characters in it are extremely relatable, as are the situations that each one faces. Kit is facing a mid life crisis, so to speak. He has no idea where his life is heading, or what direction he even wants it to go in. All his life he lived by the standards of society, not really ever breaking away. He now wants something different in his life, but isn’t exactly sure where to begin.

This story isn’t just about sex. It’s about a man coming to terms with his life and exploring aspects of it that he never did in his past. We see a man grow and change, and figure himself out, so to speak. Yes, there are some “erotic” type elements involved, but the author clearly doesn’t want those elements to be the main focus of the book. Wayne Clark did an outstanding job of conveying what he truly wanted the story to be able.

Overall, I’m very pleased with this book and would definitely recommend it.
