Very interesting story about the sexual exploration of a man in his forties. While there were fantastic descriptions, I would have appreciated more dialogue. Fascinating characterizations make the people in the novel feel alive and realistic, rather than words on the pages. This novel has a slow start that gradually picks up and begins rolling more swiftly down hill as you continue to read. It is worth the effort to become situated and comfortable to continue your story.

As for the scene with the dominatrix, that was the start of the novel for me. It picks up from there, and as I said, the interest rating increases dramatically from there. Brilliant idea contained here.
